SECOND FILM and DISCUSSION NIGHT Tuesday 28 February 2012
Growing Change is an inspiring documentary that looks at one of the most exciting experiments in the world to grow a fair and sustainable food system. Watch a trailer here http://www.growingchange.com.au/
In Venezuela, from fishing villages to cocoa plantations to urban gardens, a growing social movement is showing what's possible when communities, not corporations, start to take control of food.
Logan_CAN has several community garden initiatives on the go. This film can add to our bag of tricks like no other. There will be time for discussion after. We have Mike Crook coming who has been in Venezuela and can answer questions.
Doors open (bring a plate if you wish) at 6 pm for a 6.30 start of the film.
